Ten new Hog and Dogs
September 14, 2003
I am running out of Lucky Charms but that is ok because I have plenty of Froot Loops and Fruity Pebbles. I like my breakfast sugary and colorful. On a related note, I gave my good friend Vampire Joe McCarthy some space to host his blog so please look at it here is the latest entry:

Guess what I found today??? The first draft of that book I did back in the '50s, "America's Retreat From Victory"! Boy, this really brings back memories! There's a lot of grammer mistakes on this... I'm a terrible speller, I tell you. All these correction marks all over it, too. Heh, there's also a doodle of me in a cowboy hat I drew on page 13. I'm no Andy Warhol, that's for sure! Actually come to think of it he was probably some sorta Communist.
Boy doesn't that look like a good read. Here is the link again in case you forgot
P.S. My cable modem decided to disconnect as soon as I pushed enter so I had to type this twice and now I am mad

Last Thursday I got shampoo in my eye and I tried to get it out with a towel which just made it worse and I thought I was going to be blind so I made plans to get a monocle to put over my eye because I don't want an eye patch because then kids would think I'm a pirate or something. It went away after an hour but I still want a monocle. I heard Big Thunder Mountain is going to be closed for an undetermined period of time. They weren't kidding when they said it's the wildest ride in the wilderness. I'm planning to go to the Animation Show sometime in two weeks when it comes to Pasadena. I hope it doesn't get sold out. From Here To Insanity is all done but before I go to have it copied I have to number the pages and put a dumb little doodle on the contents page. Right now I'm trying find out how the hell to make an image map.

I can't think of anything to write here so I'll just go back and edit this later

I've just found out that the song "Where Is My Mind?" was used for the end credits of Fight Club, not Memento as I had previously thought. This changes everything.

I searched for "Hog and Dog" on Google (Hog and Dog is currently result number 15), and the third result was this:
Maybe we were dirty, after all of our adventures. I hadn’t really noticed. Kevin began to play with Me and Piggy. He used different voices to pretend that we were talking. He pretended I was saying “Hi, my name is Dog” and then he moved Piggy around and said “Hi, Dog, my name is … my name is Oink. No, no, my name is Hog!” Then he started giggling, making us dance, and repeating “Hi Dog--I’m Hog! Hi Hog--I’m Dog!” over and over until his sister told him to be quiet. This started them arguing with each other. The arguing got louder until the mommy-people shouted sternly “You two settle down or I’ll take it away!” She still hadn’t turned around to see what she might have to take away. It’s usually the daddy-people that yells at kid-peoples, but this one was letting the mommy do all the yelling.
I don't know either, but on a related note there are seven more Hog and Dogs! Here is a sneak preview:
Wow! Doesn't that look like a barrel full of laughs???

I just recieved an e-mail with a subject line that says "Are you one of THEM???". In the shower yesterday I came up with a great tune called "I Want To Stab You In The Eye With A _______________" except I don't remember the tune and now I don't even remember what the last part of the title/only lyric was. It was really catchy though. I used a light box (it's just my lamp under a clear box. Have you seen the prices for lightboxes? They're like $50) for the first time last night and it pleases me that the ink isn't all lighter due to erasing and that I can just trace over preliminary sketches instead of making a half-assed reproduction of a really good sketch (a lot of "Stickman"s suffer from this), but I'm worried that somehow I will cause a fire like this one time in 1998 or 1999 when I put metal in the microwave and all these flames came. On a related note what the hell do they call those landscaping statue things? Oh and here is a list of words that rhyme with "rubber cat" and since you seem to like clicking on links so much you should look at this flash called "Fly Guy" as well as this flash made by SA Forums poster CornBeef, who made that "rubber cat" gif you all know and love

So if you read From Here To Insanity, then you might remember this fake news article from the October/November 2002 issue entitled "Tacky, Ill-Advised September 11 Film To Be Released in 2026". Now here's the funny part: SOMEONE ACTUALLY DECIDED TO MAKE THIS MOVIE.
DC 9/11 examines Bush's trial by fire
Showtime docudrama of terrorist attacks 'not a soap opera;' producer looks at White House leadership during crisis
The American channel Showtime will make a little bit of history in September when it premieres DC 9/11: Time of Crisis, a movie about how the White House reacted to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Timothy Bottoms portrays U.S. President George W. Bush in the docudrama, which includes "inferred dialogue" and may be the first ever made about a sitting president.

Well it looks like I'm some sort of modern-day Nostradamus because someone had the gall to go and make a movie about a tragedy less than three years after the tragedy occurred. Fantastic. But thta's not all.. look at this! It stars... the guy who played Bush on "That's My Bush" as President Bush! Edie Inksetter as "Weeping Soldier"! Captain Sulu as Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta! And Sherry Palmer as Condoleezza Rice! Boy oh boy does this sound like fun

Oh hello there, friends! I returned Saturday night from the San Diego Comic Con, where various people from across the country made asses of themselves by dressing up in costumes! Oh, and I got the first e-mail in a series of potentially thousands alerting me to the shocking fact that my website is not listed on some search engines.
On a related note, here is my catcphrase list for the next month:

July 12, 2003
I found a couple of screenshots from my old computer, which I have put into a gallery called, interestingly enough, "A Couple of Screenshots I Found On My Old Computer". Also, I made a couple of "Hog and Dog" comics but I'm waiting until I finish more efore posting them. I think 5 or 7 is a good number. Eventually I will get around to changing the green text in the latest 5 to black.

In the meantime please look at this picture of Ghandi for your amusement:
Also I made a snazzy new logo (see above) as well as one for the insanity.rubbercat.net page (which I'll get around to one of these days).
August/September 2003 issue and The From Here To Insanity Volume Five Anthology still in production.
July 05, 2003

One of the girls that I pranked via instant messenger last issue in my magazine IMed me a little while ago.
SJsoccerchic: Dig bury me underneath

Suicide suckin' on a mother fuckin' tailpipe
Dead man dangling from a tight rope
Limbless in the middle of a channel bombs away

SJsoccerchic: UR GOD
SJsoccerchic: BOW DOWN TO ME
me: oic
SJsoccerchic: LOLZ
SJsoccerchic: haha
On a related note, I was bored so I decided to review comic strips. It's in the text section.

I went to Six Flags a couple days ago and there were these two twelve year olds wearing shirts with bar codes on them in front of me at the line for Viper making out. They were like a foot shorter than me. It was sickening, I wanted to throw up.
I finished drawing and inking the cover of the From Here To Insanity Volume Five Anthology and I think it looks great. I still have to erase the pencil lines and ink the action for "Stickman" (the frames, text, and talk balloons have already been inked). I hear many cartoonists do the inking in parts instead of inking an entire panel one by one, yet I notice there is absolutely no difference in the fianl artwork. Whatever. Page Two of just random pictures is in the pictures section.
June 25, 2003
Some MS Painted pictures of crayons are in the misc section. I put them in the misc section instead of the pictures section because I kind of felt sorry for the misc section because there's a lot of stuff in the pictures section and not a whole lot in the misc section. In other news, I finished drawing the next "Stickman" for the next From Here To Insanity. Inking comes next, and then -- my least favorite part -- erasing.
June 22, 2003
Yes!!! There are EVEN MORE of the award-winning "Hog and Dog" worldwideinterwebnetdotnet comic in the pictures section!!!! And while you're here why not post in our lovely shoutbox? A fun time will be had by all!!!!
June 21, 2003
Hooray, the first batch of the comedy explosion that is "Hog and Dog" is done!!!! Please go to the pictures section and check it out!!!
There's not much here yet. The scanner isn't
working so a lot of the stuff I was planning for
this won't be done for a while. Meanwhile I shall use MS Paint to combat this problem! Just take a gander at this political cartoon I made!
I haven't worked on From Here To Insanity for
a week or two, but I do have some stuff planned
including the next "Stickman". In the meantime please e-mail stickman@rubbercat.net and ask our good friend Stickman a question or two for the upcoming "Ask Stickman!" section.
Also I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming
Spike Lee television network. It's going to be
awesome: all Spike Lee movies all the time!!!!
I made a counter and I don't know why
