For some reason the punditocracy just loves labels to broadly generalize groups of people - soccer moms, NASCAR dads, "South Park Republicans", Ned Lamont Democrats - and even entire states (that whole red state, blue state nonsense). As long as there are labels (and there always will be), they should at least be entertaining. If "South Park Republican" can catch on, then surely there's room for Simpsons labels.
